Ministry Team Development (F/M/D/W)
On the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month from 6-8pm
Ministry Team is for students desiring to be teachable and willing to sacrifice time, energy and personal preferences to serve others wholeheartedly. Ultimately, leadership consists of giving up ourselves to serve others and help them grow in their walk with Christ. There is awesome responsibility communicated through the books of Acts, 1Timothy, 11Timothy, and Titus when it comes to leading and serving others to grow closer to God. Our attitudes, lifestyles, and time will define who we are and our influence for Christ. To apply for lead ministry team, see Chris for required applications (student & parent/adult reference form). After being submitted, applications will be reviewed and prayed over by the adult youth staff and Chris.
Starr Commonwealth Ministry (D/E/M)
First Sunday of the month from 4-5:30pm @ Starr
Students will be given the opportunity to lead the students at Starr through speaking, drama, music, and prayer. Starr Commonwealth is an organization designed to help reach troubled teens. Through peer to peer ministry opportunities, students will serve and share the good news to those who have never heard or are hurting and need to see what God’s love looks like.
Lead Ministry Opportunities (M/F)
Ministry to others consisting of high commitment levels and discipleship responsibilities.
- Be active in Sunday School. (Active = attending 3 of 4 Sundays per month)
- Be active in Wednesday Prime Time. (same requirements as above)
- Be active in monthly events and activities. (Active = attending 3/4 of mo events)
- Be active at Sunday Nite Live. (same requirements as events)
- Participate in Accountability Groups
- Participate in Leadership Team meetings and training events
- Have a Christ-like attitude while serving Jesus and your peers
